The PvE community in MADFINGER GAMES' tactical extraction shooter Gray Zone Warfare is hitting its breaking point, and a wave of player complaints is making it clear that what was once promoted as the calmer, more cooperative side of the game has turned into something else entirely. At the center of the firestorm is a behavior that players are calling pure griefing. Operators load into a server, head out to complete tasks, and find themselves physically trapped inside rooms by other players standing in doorways. It’s been about three weeks since Gray Zone Warfare released its biggest update so far, Spearhead, and the update has been getting a strong reaction across the community. This patch reached a peak of around 43,696 players, making it the highest player count since launch, which previously peaked at around 72,548 players.
