National Cuisine in Tiger Bay Central
September 6, 2023
A grand food festival was held in Tiger Bay Central, bringing together chefs from across the country to showcase their finest dishes. All competed for the coveted title of Best Chef in Lamang, along with the prize money.
Our esteemed leader, President Narith Sayavong, together with Vice President Jan Park, honored the event with their presence.
"It's truly wonderful to see so many people, especially visitors from abroad, coming to Tiger Bay Central to experience the best cuisine our island has to offer," President Sayavong remarked.
The winner was a chef from the renowned Temple Restaurant, receiving the prize directly from the President himself. As part of his reward, he was also promised a place in the shopping mall.
We extend our congratulations to the winning chef and our gratitude to the President for making this occasion unforgettable.
Police Warning
The police issue a strict warning to all citizens: leaving the country without official permission is a serious crime. Any attempt to cross the border illegally will result in immediate arrest and severe punishment.
"We have already detained individuals, including entire families, who thought they could escape the law," said police spokesman Sao Yang. "Let this be a clear message, no one will succeed. Do not risk your future, or the future of your family. Our prisons are full, but we will always find room for traitors."

I've never tasted better food than what we have here in Lamang. In my travels around the world, I've tried every cuisine imaginable - French, Italian, Indian, Japanese, Thai, American, and yes, even the foul excuse for food served by the British. Some of those flavors still make me shudder.
But no national cuisine compares to the treasure we have in our own country. Here in Lamang, we cook with something no one else seems to understand: true love. Our food embodies the spirit of family, deep bonds, and care passed from one generation to the next.
While much of the world treats food as just a business, focused on profit and branding, we approach it differently. We strive for perfection not because we expect a reward, but because we genuinely care for one another.
