When it comes to Level 4 Gunny in Patch v0.3.0, a lot of changes were made to the vendors. So you don't have a lot of options for building weapons from scratch like you do with Level 3 Gunny. Level 4 Gunny gives you another DDM4 that is slightly better than the Level 3 DDM4. That rifle comes in at $5,005, and we're only going to upgrade a few parts on this rifle. As with our other guides, we've marked the best gun in GOLD.
(Please Note) We're adding a longer barrel for increased accuracy at greater distances, but could be a negative when it comes to close quarter combat in tight places. You'll also need to transfer the Vulcan M1 Muzzle Device that comes with the Stock DDM4 Build over to the 18" barrel for the Mark 1 Suppressor to work. We've also included a side-by-side stats comparison for the 16" vs the 18" barrel below.
Like the other guides we've left out the optics, as it largely comes down to user preference. That said we did include a recommended setup at the end of the guide.
16" BARREL VS 18" BARREL SIDE-BY-SIDE COMPARISON
We're going to recommended running with option #2. As losing 8% in Weapon Handling is not idea. And to combat the fact our optics is always at a 5x zoom. When it comes to close combat. We're going to use the canted option combined with the Steiner CQBL-1 Laser making this a very deadly option whie keeping us at only - 3% Weapon Handing loss vs
- 11% with Option #1
THE NEGATIVE - (FOV) or field of view, is a lot less compared to Option #1 when looking down scope. It's a lot easier to be ambushed by closer range targets. As you can see from the side-by-side comparison. When running Option #2 it's important you don't get tunnel vision and be mindful of your peripheral view as the view down scope is about 50% less than Option #1

OPTION #1 - If you run this setup you have the ability to zoom from 1x - 4x. Making this a very powerful option for close and long distance combat. However the downside is you lose - 8% Weapon Handling
OPTION #2 - When it comes to this option, you get 5x zoom over Option 1's 4x. However this option is a constant 5x zoom making it not the best for close quarter combat, but it comes with zero loss to your Weapon Handling.
