Hello, I know I've seen posts elsewhere, mostly on steam, talking about how some of the mounting options don't make sense for various things.
One I wanted to bring up is the PVS-14 not mounting to the Rhino mount. Currently in game, the PVS-14 mounts to its swingarm, which is correct, and then that mounts to the L4 G24 helmet mount, which is also correct, which mounts to the helmet bracket.
However, the Rhino Mount in game only mounts to the PVS-7 and does not allow for attachment to the PVS-14 swingarm, which is incorrect. I have illustrated this with images attached.
As you will see, I have my PVS-14 with the swing arm screwed into the side of it. I slide the clip into the Nortos Rhino mount. Then I clip the Nortos Rhnino mount into the helmet bracket.
As I said before, I've seen numerous complaints about attachments and compatibilities. While I'm focusing on the Rhino mount here, I'd like to add that there are accessories for the PVS-14 that allow it to attach to helmets that do not have a mounting bracket using a strap that goes around the helmet, and there is a different kind of arm that allows it to attach to a weapon directly. In fact, I think it could be said for most US military equipment that there are ways to adapt them for universal compatibility. Some of these things are already in game, like barrel adapters for tactical items that would normally be rail attached. I think continuing to research and add these workarounds would improve the game a bit.
