Battle Board is a live tactical map tool built directly into your Squad pages giving squad leaders and coordinators a real operational planning space that lives alongside your missions.
The Battle Board is a persistent, real-time interactive map of Lamang that your squad uses to plan and coordinate operations. It lives inside any mission you create through your Squad's Missions tab. Once a Battle Board is set up and locked in, it becomes the tactical reference point for that operation. Visible to your members, updated in real time, and tied directly to your Discord through our webhook integration.
WHAT CAN YOU DO WITH IT?
Squad leaders and battle coordinators can place a full set of tactical markers directly onto the Lamang satellite map. Objectives, insertion points, enemy positions, extraction points, danger zones, and custom route lines can all be dropped with a single click. Every marker supports a label and color so your board stays organized no matter how complex the operation gets.
Zones can be drawn freehand as polygons directly on the map, letting you define patrol areas, no-go zones, landing zones, or any area of interest your squad needs to communicate. Each zone carries its own name and color.
The full-screen mode gives you a dedicated tactical view with a side panel listing everything placed on the board, with the ability to remove items without leaving the map. The board auto-refreshes so every member watching sees updates as they happen.
Squad leaders control who can place markers. Through Board Settings on each mission you can allow members to submit markers live, hold them in a queue for coordinator approval, or lock submission to coordinators only. The same permission tiers apply to invited Squads separately from full members, so you have full control over your operational security. Labels can be set to always display above markers on the map, or only appear when a marker is clicked. Your call depending on how cluttered your board gets.

DISCORD INTEGRATION
When you lock in a Battle Board for the first time, your squad's linked Discord channel gets a notification. Same when a board is updated with a re-lock. If you haven't linked your Discord webhook yet, head into your Squad's Discord Integration page and drop in your webhook URL.
HOW TO GET STARTED
Open your Squad page and go to the Missions tab. Create a new mission or open an existing one and click the Battle Board tab. From there you can start placing markers immediately in Draft mode. When your board is ready for your members to see, hit Lock In and it goes live.
Squad defaults for permissions and label display can be configured once under Squad Defaults so you don't have to set them per mission every time.
This is version 2.0 of the Board and we'll be expanding it based on how squads actually use it. Get in there and let us know what you think.
